Outdoor & English Training-Intensive English with Adventure Sports
This exciting project was launched by ModLang in 2004 and is based on "High Performance" in English Language Skills Training and outdoor pursuits including adventure sports. The setting is perfect- The Guayente Sanctuary deep in the Benasque Valley of the Aragonese Pyrenean Mountains. The course is Total Immersion for adults and teenagers with a high level of English and lasts for 2 weeks, usually the second half of July, each year.
Teacher profile
These positions are ideal for teachers who have some experience of EFL and/or teaching outdoor pursuits and adventure sports such as hiking, mountain bike, horse riding, kayaking, rafting or who simply enjoy working outdoors with people, accompanying walks, orienteering, photography and nature trails etc.
Job profile
Teachers work and live in for 1 or 2 intensive weeks with the students. Accommodation is full-board in single rooms at the Sanctuary. Teaching involves half classroom time, used to prepare the outdoor activity in detail in English while practising language skills, followed by accompanying the students on the sports activities.

Complete the Application Form for English and Adventure Sports Teachers and send it in before 31st March. As for the teachers applying for the Intensive English and Sports Summer Course in Zaragoza which is non-residential, selected teachers will be required to attend the Course Presentation and Interview session held in cities around the UK and Ireland in early April.
